HALLOOOOOOO. it is alex, praying my brain will work so i can play with you guys 😭😭

• This is Rakesh, a new boo in the healing dept. His job is basically to study how different injuries/maladies/medicines affect different species and adapt treatments and medications to everyone.

• Once upon a time, he worked in a Secret Government Lab, where he had a lab accident that turned him into what he is today. (His two connections are coming from that lab assuming everyone gets their apps done!!!! 😠😠)

• Lab accident turned Rakesh into what he calls a human glitch. He can control electronics with a touch and a thought and sometimes picks up radio signals in his ?teeth? Also, sometimes parts of his body just glitch out and disappear for a second, which he can kind of control by keeping his moods in check but usually he just gets blazed as fuck and hope it works.

• oh also his bonus power is electrical accumulation, which he can use to charge your phone or just get wicked static electricity shocks.

• Music guy. Makes beats in his bedroom, literally no one will ever pay him for them but it's a lot more fun than studying for the GREs ever was.

• Dork.

• I already have a first post in mind for him but I need to do one (1) work before he is unleashed please stay tuned

delphine desjardins, curse breaker in knowledge (primary) & healing (secondary).

a hedge witch who's more at home among a city's intersections than a village's crossroads. moved here for the job from LA, originally from a coven in trois-rivières, QC.
is in over her head: lottie's curse got her interested in curse breaking but she's mostly only studied it — her only applied experience has been trying to break lottie's and that hasn't worked yet lol. she's DETERMINED, however, to be super impressive and cool and knowledgable!!!!
outgoing, nosy, opinionated, overachiever, very messy personal life (collects ex-girlfriends like cool rocks). will spend her first 24 hours backreading the network so she can form unwarranted opinions about the extant staff.
coming in with lotlot, her college pal and roomie! she claims she's an EP of lottie's tiktok account, which is BS, but sometimes she holds the camera and oftentimes she provides commentary lottie never asked for.

don't worry about establishing how she'll do with yours right now! we can figure it out in play! i just want you to know who she is! YAY! 💜

i mean you know my kids, bug them accordingly, because I got nothing obvious.

Leo the Phoenix is newly released from a snow globe. He came out of the globe looking fine but pretty quickly his lack of cycling caught up with him and he's looking awfully fluey right now.

He was rescued by the last Adventure Society from a magical ruin. He doesn't know how old he is and doesn't really care, to be honest.

He changes a little bit with each rebirth.

His tears do NOT heal people, but his potions do! He likes plants better than people.

He's got a lot to learn about the new world and he is Feeling. Overwhelmed.

I'm gonna upload new icons after I get home from work tonight or maybe tomorrow.

hello hello this is kitty! excited to be back and actually play this time 🥰

i'm bringing in lottie delgado as a vlogger in the creativity dept! bonus power is phasing.

she's a lil bit of a gullible idiot who got conned by a hag into a trade that gave her chronomancy in return for some of her time. so now she's chronically running out of time and tired because she actually only has 23 usable hours a day. but at least she can give people the zoomies now!

she's mostly a vlogger in theory, but actually she kind of just experiments with a lot of video content creator trends trying to ride them until something sticks and only has a moderate following mostly from before she dedicated her life to being embarrassing in videos on the internet when she worked for internet celebrity gossip news site.

she is

proplift's college friend and roomie, from before arriving at adventure society and continuing now that they've got their sweet new jobs.

she is friendly and a bit of an airhead and constantly causes problems for herself and is certainly going to continue this pattern with a whole new power to mess up with!

i'm excited to see how lottie plays with the other magic users aside from delphine who actually grew up around magic and aren't just learning about everything so i will definitely throw her at broderick!!!

and lottie will be friendly right back with newton so i'll throw her at him as well!! she will absolutely teach him about vlogging and also possibly attempt to drag him into things so apologies in advance if she's bugging him about doing tiktok challenges with her eventually

Hiii! It's Jill! My app isn't even completely done yet, but what the hell.

So I've got our boy Newton, Veterinarian for Healing (Action secondary) recently freed from snowglobe and wide-eyed at the new world:

Newton is a hellhound who used to do the bidding of his Crossroads Demon master and drag souls to hell. Unfortunately Newton was a little too sensitive and empathetic and had a lot of guilt for his role in the whole soul damnation, so when he was given the opportunity by a would-be reaped soul to break free of his master and Hell he took it! He's still a demon though.

LOVES animals/creatures (is one himself) and has been a Veterinarian for Quest and then Adventure Society when he became a double-agent to help Turquoise, Silvia, and Leo take down Cadmus. Famously got snowglobbed for his troubles in the 1800s and is really throwing himself into becoming modern.

He's enthusiastic, very social, overly positive, and tenacious. He's also naive, overly trusting and overthinks everything/self-sabotages.

Loves the outdoors. Was a big into cycling on his velocipede back in the day and so is jazzed to get into biking culture. LOVES theatre and poetry and thinks he can become artistic if he just tries really hard (he's wrong).

Madly in love with Silvia, the unrequited love of his life. Womp, womp.

hiiii. this is cortney and i just woke up from a nap so please excuse my brain jumble

- THIS IS SILVIA. your characters might know her as the stern lookin' unimpressed former head librarian who up and got herself snowglobed with a couple other people. at this point, she knows you knows and is probably staring at you as much as you're staring at her.

- she does not remember very much about herself, or things relating to herself. she also does not know how many things in this day and age work, so she feels a bit between a rock and a hard place. very possibly your character has caught her very intensely observing your character using the microwave. even if she was given a really perfect average explanation, she probably looked a little unsatisfied.

- has been spending a lot of her time in the library.

- she is fiercely protective of her snowglobe friends and she does NOT like being away from them. newton might be the hell hound but she is the scary dog privilege lbr

SO EXCITED. Also I just realized we never talked about Silvia and Broderick, because that dynamic has the potential to be hilarious given how much he was talking shit about her magic before they found out what happened to her. But also they'll have a lot of similarities I think.

Hello! Cheryl here, I'm NEW. I officially blamed Alex for inviting me when I apped, so let's stick with that.

• This is Biff. He's a Bigfoot/Sasquatch.

• Action dept, scout. Not big on fighting, but he can if he needs to. One of his innate abilities is to turn blurry on command, which allows him to sneak really well in foresty areas.

• Bonus ability is talking to animals which is making spending time in wooded areas WILD y'all.

• Mostly, he's a big friendly goof. He's a redneck nerd so if you want to go fishing or talk about comics, he's your dude.

This concept and PB is INCREDIBLE. I have two: Broderick here who is the Head of Knowledge, necromancer/wizard, Byron's older brother, dating Bracken, and is a shouty nerd who has opinions on everything. And then I'm bringing in Newton who is a hellhound that was one of the former snowglobed and is an all around very enthusiastic, sweet guy. He's the veterinarian and obviously an animal himself.
