Hello and welcome to adventuresociety's inaugural brainstorming post! Use this post to talk about your character ideas, share concept docs, look for connections (you may currently have 2 pre-existing connections per character), pre-plot, and/or hash out whatever other OOC things you want.
Please note that nothing on this post should be considered game canon until characters are accepted into the game. Initial apps will be processed on January 1st for pre-game memes. The game itself opens on January 15th with an introductory IC/OOC, although I may post the PCal a couple of days in advance to give people a heads up re: what to expect. I'll also roll out the Discord as apps are accepted.

For the IJ Transplants
Disabling Hover Menus
you can turn off the hover menus that come up when you mouse over icons by going to: organize > account settings > display > hover menu (set to "nothing")
Setting Entry Page to Site Skin
dreamwidth will by default display entry pages in your journal's style instead of the site skin.
you can disable this for your own journal by going to: organize > account settings > display > Entry Page Default: Your Journal (uncheck box)
you can override this on other people's journals by going to: organize > account settings > display > Entry Pages: Shown to You (select "site skin" in the dropdown menu)
Disabling IP Tracking
dreamwidth logs all ip addresses on all comments on your journal by default. a lot of us find this a little weird, and we try to disable the setting on all our accounts.
you can turn this feature off by going to: organize > account settings > privacy > IP Address Logging (set dropdown menu to "anonymous commenters" or "nobody")
