Hello and welcome to adventuresociety's inaugural brainstorming post! Use this post to talk about your character ideas, share concept docs, look for connections (you may currently have 2 pre-existing connections per character), pre-plot, and/or hash out whatever other OOC things you want.

Please note that nothing on this post should be considered game canon until characters are accepted into the game. Initial apps will be processed on January 1st for pre-game memes. The game itself opens on January 15th with an introductory IC/OOC, although I may post the PCal a couple of days in advance to give people a heads up re: what to expect. I'll also roll out the Discord as apps are accepted.

REFUND TO POINTS

dreamwidth tip: every december, there's a holiday promotion where you get bonus points if you spend any money in the shop. if you would like to buy a paid account now (so you can upload all of your icons) but save that paid time for when the game actually starts in january, do this:

1. buy a paid account for whatever length of time you want. this also works for premium paid accounts (which have 300 icons instead of 150). if you do this in december, you'll get extra points.
2. immediately refund to points. (note that you can only do this once a month.)
3. your account will still be paid for one day, so you can upload all your icons today before your paid time expires tomorrow.
4. once the game starts, use your points to buy paid time again!

also!!! points can transfer, if you were in another game on dw and your accounts are still paid for more than 30 days, you can refund to points and then transfer those points to your adventure society journals if you wish lol
