Welcome to April's Plot Calendar! Thank you all for being such amazing writers and players!

New this month as per YOUR suggestion: [PLAYER'S CHOICE] slots are choose-your-own-plot days. Whether you want to put a Taco Tuesday there or an IC/OOC, it's up to you!

Please only take one volunteer spot for the first 24 hours; after that, it's all fair game. Department-wide, Mission, and Player's Choice spots don't count towards your limit. Think of all volunteer spots as prompts to get your character interacting with other characters.

**Calendar items marked "post required" are metaplot-related and should be posted about to move the plot forward. Please don't take these volunteer spots unless you will be able to make a journal entry on that day.**

Schoolchildren from the local magical school visit to see what the job of an Adventurer is like. [VOLUNTEER 2] gives them a tour.

Wednesday, April 3rd

Wizarding World Magazine prints some extremely inaccurate gossip about Society Members, including that MAYA & SHARONA, who were seen chatting at the Gala, are a secret couple.

Cultists are ruining the good name of Merlin by committing magical fraud. Adventurers are asked to stop them by any means necessary. BRODERICK BEST and team to the rescue. (MISSION #1019)

Friday, April 5th

Wizarding World Magazine sends a raven to DARCY to ask if Cadmus Scantlebury is really just using the Society as a front to host huge erotic parties. See: his collection of hotties.

ELDITH invites everyone to join them on a trip to a magical petting zoo.

Someone accidentally brings gremlins into the building, and they begin to attack all machinery. [VOLUNTEER 9] leads the charge to capture and get rid of them.

Every ten years, the most prestigious speed cake baking competition in the supernatural world takes place. It's like the Olympics. This year, festivities will be hosted in Kyoto, Japan. BRACKEN assembles a team to represent the Adventure Society. (MISSION #1025)

⛰️ Friday, April 12th

Scientists from the local magical university are here for a tour and to run some experiments on HQ's pocket dimensions. They must push the wrong button, because ADZUKI winds up trapped in a dreamland for an hour before snapping back to reality. (post required)

🦤 Saturday, April 13th

The Boneyard hosts a Battle of the Bands, and all musician characters are invited to participate. For those who don't play anything or prefer not to, a karaoke contest is also set up. The prize up for grabs?: free drinks for a year. (IC/OOC)

BRACKEN finds a room containing Cadmus Scantlebury's massive collection of pinned insects and skeletons. (post required)

Overnight, a new(?) arcade game appears in the Atrium. Try it if you dare.

[VOLUNTEER 16] gets followed by a dozen stray cats.

International Bat Appreciation Day: festive but harmless bat illusions flutter around the atrium and throughout the building.

Since they can not read HYACINTHE's beautifully crafted sign and can't heed her warnings, a waterfall appears around the machine and will only part to allow access for people who are deemed worthy by Petra.
