Here's a post where you can intro your doppelgängers for next month's plot and figure out any pre-existing dynamics. Feel free to add them to this post once you receive your community invites. I'll be doing adds on a rolling basis.

Katya (Ainslie's dopple)
This is Katya! She's a rusalka who had the unfortunate fate of being drowned and murdered by a former lover several centuries ago, and became this undead, vengeful creature as a result. Her demeanor completely masks this - she seems kind and sweet, if not a little sad given the whole murder/undead bit. In reality she is at most times considering how best to lure, punish, and kill men who have wronged women. Just not a fan of most dudes in general.
As a malevolent water spirit, she needs to be by water whether that be a pool or fresh water, etc so she's always carrying a Stanley of the stuff.
She works in Quest's archives and will be trying to convince Ainslie to get back onto her own revenge path. No crushes, only vengeance.

I had some ideas that might help move personal plots forward?? What if Jiayuan actually sided with Katya on the “no crushes, only vengeance” damp lady party line? He would actually agree with Katya that Ainslie would be better off finding her skin and ENDING the guy who stole it.
And also, I think it might be interesting if Jiayuan confided to Katya that he wasn’t a knife spirit but actually a ghost—either during a moment of genuine connection or because she’s tricked him (I have no preference and think either could be fun). And then Katya could dangle that knowledge in front of Ainslie, maybe as like a hint/nudge that men do nothing but LIE so it’s better to stick to Ainslie’s original plan and not get distracted. And then that could prompt Ainslie to talk to Broderick about his personal experiences with ghosts. 😬😬👁️👁️

And yes I'm so down for her to get that knowledge out of him to then use it against him. And then it serves ghost plot with broderick??? Best day ever!
