Now that we're about a month into the game (wow, time sure flies!), it's time to reflect on what our characters are up to, and what else they might need to help them flourish.


HOW THIS WORKS:

1. Put your character's name in a comment header under Forms, then fill out the form below.


2. Post another header with their name under Reactions so that people can react there (please don't comment to character forms directly in case their players want to edit!).

Character name: Byron Best
What they've been up to/what their current mental state is/what they're gonna be up to in the coming weeks:

• He's doing a bit better than he was when he got here! He's been outed as a wolf and his life hasn't gotten any worse than it already was. He still hates himself and is ready to spend the rest of his life as a hermit alone (he has the other wolves for guidance now but he does not expect any of that to be a permanent thing; he does not see himself staying here forever). He's incredibly anxious about how his first full moon spent with others is going to go, but trying not to dwell on it.


• He's working behind the scenes on getting his PhD back on track now that he knows Cadmus Scantlebury is probably the one who derailed all that for him rather than something he did wrong. If he can't have any other joy in life, at least he can (possibly??) still get that stupid piece of paper.


• He's inventing things and testing the limits of his powers, to mixed results. He's also been doing a lot of the Head Wizard's job and fixing the magic of HQ because the current Head Wizard is incapable or unwilling to do so himself.


• He led a successful mission against the Hydra, although he was mostly a supporting character there. He wants to try again and do better.


• UPCOMING: camping with the other werewolves during the full! Going to the aquarium with Ophelia! Sorry he is kinda still keeping everyone at arm's length, he is damaged goods. He also has his 30th bday coming up soon, so he's existentially spiralling about that on top of everything else.

Anything they need ICly: Idk he definitely needs friends but is also the one thwarting anyone's attempts to get to know him better because he's scared of being Perceived or getting close to anyone.
Anything you need OOCly: I would love some logs, please! Maybe I'm weird but I kinda don't get a solid feel for characters/how they mesh with one another until I write them in prose, so I would love some logs to try to sort them out a bit more!
