meme #3 - truth, skip, or flip

truth skip or flip

Welcome to [personal profile] adventuresociety's third pre-game meme!

This game is pretty straightforward: post your character's name and other characters can ask them a question. Then, they can choose to answer truthfully, skip the question, or flip the question back at the asker. Easy peasy!

The usual disclaimer: memes are just for fun/voice testing and should not be considered game canon/in-game knowledge unless a player explicitly says it's okay for another character to know the information learned here.

I’m asking, of course. The website says nothing about shows. It only says I can ask you questions like “Who is the hottest person here?” or “What’s one thing that no one here knows about you?” And I’m certain you won’t answer either.

I’ve never been to a movie theatre before.

I would say going to the theater is a quintessential human experience, although I have only been once. I saw Fatal Attraction when it was released—very fun. While you’re trapped in this form you may as well enjoy human activities.

I do.

What do you think are some other quintessential human experiences? Or must-see movies? Do not google it!! I can google.

I only Google because I’m not familiar with this era of humanity. […] But off the top of my head, I suppose[…]

1) My Girl was a good movie.
2) Ghostbusters, too.
3) Listening to music in general. I like Mariah Carey, though I couldn’t tell you who’s popular these days.
4) Going on a walk and sharing snacks.
5) Taking a warm bath.
6) Giving and receiving hugs, especially when you or the other person are feeling sad.
[…]
7) Um, Ghost was a good movie, I guess.

I don’t know. I don’t profess to be the expert in human experiences. […] I’m just a knife.

That's fine. You can still have your own opinions. [...] This seems like a pretty good list, for a knife. I prefer to be cold though.

Human bodies have a harder time with cold. You can lose fingers or toes. […] Is what I’ve heard. So be careful.

Thank you for your concern for my fingers and toes.

It’s only right and just. Don’t make a big deal out of it.

Aye sure. I’ll not forget it though.

But if you did forget it, I’m sure nobody would at all mind.

[…]

Me mentioning it, I mean. Don’t actually forget about frostbite and subsequent loss of extremities. I’m being very serious.

Sounds serious. Should you supervise the temperature of my baths then, do you think?

You’re being funny about this but I’m quite serious. I’ve seen numerous cases of lost fingers, ears, and even a chin. I have Googled the matter and apparently seals have enzymes in their skin that prevent frostbite, so I suppose this is not a problem you’ve ever encountered before. But be aware that the human body interprets excessive cold as pain.

I’ve been in this body before. I do appreciate the concern but I think I can navigate for myself what feels bad and what feels nice.

[…] I’m sorry you’ve had to see all that though.
