We have a lot of characters with enhanced senses, so you can also use this space to tell others what the extra-perceptive folks might notice about your lil guys. Also feel free to include mood boards, playlists, or any other fun extras you want to share relating to your characters. Feel free to answer as many or as few of these as you like!

👁️ Unassuming. Mild-mannered. Old-fashioned. Doing his best to look like an ordinary guy, albeit a guy who is a half-century out of date with his tweed and sweater vests. Slouches, hangs his head, avoids eye contact. This is a performance; in the past he used to appear to unsuspecting youths looking like a romance novel cover boy who mysteriously wandered out from the sea. His true form is that of a beautiful mist-grey horse, and his truer form is the same horse but scarier, but you only see that face when he's killing you.

👃 Faint but persistent scent of seaweed clings to him, no matter what form he takes. Otherwise smells like wool and cheap shampoo as a human, and like clean horse when he's a horse. The scent of the sea inspires murderous urges in him, so please understand if he ever attempts to destroy an air freshener.

👂 Scottish accent, only slightly softened from living in other countries for decades. Smooth, pleasant voice.

👅 His favourite food is human flesh. :( But since he's cut that out of his diet, he enjoys beef instead, which he prefers fresh and raw, but will usually eat cooked since that's what a normal dude does. Loves hamburgers. Willing to try any food at least once, although he doesn't get real sustenance out of anything except meat. Grossed out by liver. Does enjoy hay and grain, but only in horse form.

✋ Very jumpy about being touched unexpectedly, or by strangers. Frequently vacillates between enjoying being around other people and seeming incredibly wary of being close to anyone, depending on how much he feels the urge to Drown People. When he feels safe, he's very physically affectionate and comfortable with physical contact (you have to be, when you spent years as a saddle horse).

✨ Nervous, but not unfriendly. Oddly evasive. Shows flashes of what seems like his "real" personality when he gets really enthusiastic or curious about encountering something new. Very sincere.

Important vibes note: there's virtually no magical aura in either human or horse form to suggest that Leith is anything other than what he's posing as. This is crucial for his ability to lure humans in to eat them; he is undetectable as a magical creature (unless it happens to be very funny or interesting to say otherwise 😌). He does have several weird tells, but if your special ability is ~sensing~ other supernatural beings then Leith usually escapes notice.

(the big exception is when he goes into Scary Horse mode, which only happens in the sea, then he does very much look and feel like an otherworldly beast)

I still love the idea of the murder horses working together not realizing the other is also a murder horse

leith's most noticeable horse tells are he leans in to sniff everything and tosses/flicks his head when he's annoyed

hyacinthe keeps eating all the sugar cubes in the break room

i keep giggling at the thought of leith thinking to himself "be NORMAL!!! normal!!! 😤 hyacinthe will freak out if they think there's a murder horse here"
